English

We are pleased to announce NEW MEDIA / NEW TECHNOLOGY / NEW ARTIST, opening at ISLAND in Harajuku, Tokyo, on October 17, 2026.

Following presentations at Artist Cafe Fukuoka and HOTEL ANTEROOM SEOUL, the exhibition brings together five artists exploring new possibilities for creativity in the age of AI.

Featuring Kazuki Takakura, Kenta Cobayashi, Ao Ito, Shunsuke Saiki, and Namae Myoji, the exhibition spans painting, sculpture, VR, 3DCG, NFTs, algorithms, and game art, reflecting the increasingly fluid boundaries between digital and physical realities.

The exhibition also presents ego Graphica, an AI agent trained on each artist's ideas and creative practice. Through interactive dialogue, visitors can explore the concepts behind the artworks and discover new ways of engaging with artists and their work.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, October 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

We warmly welcome press coverage and look forward to seeing you at the exhibition.
