(Comprehensive foreign report from South Padre Island, Texas, 28th) SpaceX's Starship rocket launched from Texas today, beginning its 14th test flight. According to live footage, the giant rocket has entered Earth orbit for the first time.

According to AFP, Starship is the largest rocket in history, standing over 120 meters tall. It lifted off shortly after 12:48 GMT, and the upper stage has separated from the booster, currently flying in Earth orbit at an altitude of 277 km at a speed exceeding 26,300 km/h.

SpaceX is owned by tech billionaire Elon Musk. After a high-profile initial public offering (IPO) in June, the company accelerated its 14th test flight with ambitious goals.

The test flight is expected to last about 10 hours. The experimental upper stage has entered orbit and will deploy 26 next-generation Starlink satellites.

According to Reuters, Starship is designed to launch SpaceX's Starlink satellites more frequently and to support future NASA lunar landing missions.
