Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che led a municipal delegation and representatives from Tainan-based enterprises on a 40-hour business visit to the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. Despite the short stay, the delegation held intensive meetings with local governments, economic zones, technology parks, and companies, focusing on industrial exchanges in artificial intelligence (AI) and smart manufacturing, actively expanding Taiwan-Poland cooperation opportunities and advancing Tainan’s economic diplomacy.Mayor Huang stated that the trip efficiently accomplished multiple tasks, including city promotion, industry matchmaking, and agricultural product promotion. It has attracted major international investments from companies such as Intel, SK Hynix, and Spanish AI chip firm Openchip, becoming a significant technology hub in Poland and offering new cooperation opportunities for Tainan enterprises seeking to expand into the European market.
