We conducted a survey titled 'Survey on AI Use in Document Creation' targeting our existing clients.As a result, 100% of responding companies answered that they 'currently use AI in document creation' or 'would like to use it if possible.'This survey examined the current state of AI adoption in creating various business documents—such as sales materials, proposals, internal reports, seminar materials, and marketing documents—as well as future intentions for AI use.## Summary of Survey Results100% of companies use or want to use AI in document creationThe survey revealed that all 10 responding companies either:- Currently use AIor- Would like to use AI if possibleAlthough this is a small-scale survey of existing clients, it clearly shows that interest in using AI to improve efficiency and quality in document creation is widespread across all respondents.## Background: Workload in Document CreationIn business operations, companies routinely create various types of documents.Common documents include:- Sales materials- Client proposals- Internal meeting documents- Marketing reports- Recruitment briefing materials- Seminar and training materials- Business plans- Manuals and procedural guidesHowever, in actual document creation processes, several challenges are observed:- Significant time is required to plan document structure- Information organization and summarization are labor-intensive- Document quality varies by individual- Reuse and updating of past documents are not progressing- Design and language refinement are often neglected due to time constraintsGiven these challenges, there is growing interest in using AI to streamline the initial stages of document creation, enabling staff to focus on content review and strategic decision-making.## Anticipated Use of AI in Document CreationAI can be used in the following stages of document creation:- Creating outlines for entire documents- Summarizing long-form content- Suggesting headlines and titles- Proofreading and rephrasing text- Adjusting language based on the target audience- Organizing meeting notes and research findings- Extracting data for charts and diagrams- Generating update suggestions based on existing documentsBy leveraging AI, the burden of creating documents from scratch is reduced, allowing humans to focus on final content verification and strategic judgment.## BOTANICO's InsightsFrom these survey results, we found that companies do not view AI merely as a text-generation tool, but rather as a support system for:- Reducing document creation time- Improving information organization efficiency- Stabilizing structural quality- Assisting in idea generation- Enhancing communication effectiveness internally and externallyHowever, AI-generated content still requires human oversight for factual accuracy, company-specific perspectives, and brand tone alignment.Therefore, in the future, an effective document creation process will combine 'AI-driven drafting, organization, and efficiency' with 'human-led review, editing, and decision-making.'## BOTANICO's InitiativesBOTANICO provides the following support regarding AI-powered document creation and operational efficiency:- Support for structuring sales materials and proposals- Marketing report creation- Assistance in creating seminar and training materials- AI-powered text organization and summarization- Standardization of document creation workflows- Training programs on generative AI usage- Support for internalizing document creation processesGoing forward, we will continue to combine AI capabilities with human expertise to support businesses in improving both the efficiency and quality of their document creation processes.
