The city government issued a notice stating that the Erchong Floodway has accumulated water and will be closed to traffic from Erchong 10th Road northward, including access roads. Residents are reminded to reroute early to ensure safety.Influenced by the typhoon moving north and the strengthening southwest monsoon, the Central Weather Administration continues to issue real-time heavy thunderstorm warnings for New Taipei City. Some residents have posted videos online showing flooded roads in the Wugu area, with cars and motorcycles wading through the water.The New Taipei City Fire Department stated this evening that there have been no severe disaster reports so far, only isolated reports of water accumulation in the Wugu and Taishan areas, with depths of about 10 centimeters.The New Taipei City Government also issued a notice this evening that due to the impact of heavy rainfall and the operation of pumping stations, the Erchong Floodway has accumulated water. Sections north of Erchong 10th Road and access roads will be subject to traffic control.
