*As of July 2026, according to our research. To the best of our knowledge based on publicly available information, this is the first practical open seminar in Japan that systematically teaches the entire process from source code/binary analysis using generative AI, PoC generation, and patch generation to vulnerability report creation.Heatwave Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Kaoru Hayashida), which has been involved in IT and cybersecurity education for over 34 years, will hold the "AI-Powered Vulnerability Detection Seminar" on July 25, 2026 (Sat). In this seminar, participants will experience generative AI actually analyzing source code and binary files to:■ Detect vulnerabilities■ Create PoCs (Proof of Concept)■ Generate patches (correction code)■ Create vulnerability reportsThe seminar will also introduce vulnerability detection using local AI environments, which are easier to use within companies, in addition to cloud AI, providing practical learning of new security operations required in the coming AI era. From the "Era of AI Writing Code" to the "Era of AI Protecting Companies"Generative AI is rapidly spreading not only in text creation and programming assistance but also in the field of cybersecurity. In recent years, technologies that support human security engineers have become a reality, such as AI analyzing source code, AI discovering vulnerabilities, AI proposing safe correction methods, and AI automatically generating reports. On the other hand, cyberattacks are also becoming more sophisticated, with the use of AI for phishing emails and malware generation. This is not an era where only attackers use AI.From now on, defenders will also be required to master AI and achieve faster and more advanced security measures. Why This Seminar Now?

Companies are currently facing challenges such as accelerating development speed, increasing code volume, and a shortage of security personnel. Traditional vulnerability assessments are becoming increasingly difficult to cope with, and a shift to new development and diagnostic processes utilizing AI has begun. At Heatwave, we have conducted repeated verification in multiple AI environments to determine "how far AI can detect vulnerabilities" and "how far AI can generate correction code."We will be publicly releasing the results of this research in a practical format for the first time in this seminar. What You Can Experience in This SeminarParticipants will operate their own PCs to experience:■ Source code analysis, vulnerability detection, and cause analysis through dialogue with AI using Claude + RAPTOR.■ Building a verification environment using VMware Workstation Pro / Fusion.■ Vulnerability detection demonstrations using local AI (LM Studio + Cline).■ Static analysis using Semgrep.■ A full workflow including patch generation, report creation, and vulnerability report writing by AI.Recommended for:Those interested in AI-powered vulnerability detection and assessment. Those who want to streamline secure development. Those who want to check for vulnerabilities in software and development programs. Those interested in security applications in local AI environments.Instructor Introduction: Yukihiro NakamuraWith many years of experience in the IT security industry, he currently works as a security consultant, supporting clients in solving their challenges. He is responsible for security assessments, advisory services, and incident response services. His recent publication is "Protecting Corporate Systems from Cyberattacks!

Expansion into corporate training and education for government agencies is also planned. This seminar is positioned as the first step in this initiative. In the future, in collaboration with practical training programs such as "AI Offense and Defense Battle" and the "Secu-Juku White Hacker Training Course," we will further promote the development of cybersecurity personnel in Japan.■ About Heatwave Co., Ltd.Heatwave Co., Ltd.
