But looking back now, I think I unconsciously inserted the word "someday" between "something" and "together" in my mind. However, soon after, Ebisawa-san contacted me.My heart pounded as I headed to the four-and-a-half tatami room, where Ebisawa-san was excitedly talking about her next project and what she wanted to challenge herself with.Seeing her, I thought, "This person doesn't have the word 'someday' in her vocabulary." My heart warmed, and I suddenly felt an urge to have her read my novel.In fact, the reason I started writing novels was the shock I received from Ebisawa-san's planned and starring work, "Jodan Janai Yo."After reading it, Ebisawa-san said, "Can you make this into a screenplay?

" and even though I had never written a film script before, I immediately replied, "Yes, I can," and went home to furiously write the first draft."Miso no Tsubo" is the story of two men living in the same town who have "stopped."Their hearts have become hardened, and they can't even rely on those who care about them. Even when they muster the courage to take a step forward, nothing goes right. This is a story of one night where these two men reunite and forcibly pry open each other's hearts.I hope you enjoy this night where only by colliding with each other can these clumsy individuals move forward.● Tessu Yamamoto (やまもとてす)Born in 1987, from Osaka Prefecture.Began acting in 2009 as a member of the comedy theater troupe "Ippai Antenna," based in Kyoto.In 2015, he moved to Tokyo alone and transitioned to narration. He has provided narration for a wide range of genres, including commercials, TV programs, and movie trailers.In 2022, the radio drama "Benkei Ki," in which he starred, won the Galaxy Award for Excellence and the Broadcasting Culture Foundation Award for Best Prize.He resumed his acting career in 2024 and will serve as a scriptwriter for the first time in "Miso no Tsubo."Future DevelopmentsA crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to begin in late July of this month to proceed with the production of this work.In mid-August, a behind-the-scenes documentary of the auditioned cast will begin streaming.Following that, the cast selected through auditions will be announced in late September.
