The Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF) (Chairman: Akio Toyoda) has partnered with the Michelin Corporate Foundation (※1) and Tourisme & Handicap (※2) to launch "My Easy Access" in Vichy, France, a project aimed at supporting the creation of a city where everyone can move with peace of mind. "My Easy Access" is a platform designed to help people with disabilities, the elderly, and families with children to check the accessibility and travel routes of their destinations in advance, enabling them to go out independently and with confidence. It offers a mobility navigation app, a portal site, and a city map, providing travel information tailored to user needs, such as routes with fewer steps, road surface conditions, gradients, and ease of crossing. TMF, the Michelin Corporate Foundation, and Tourisme & Handicap signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in October 2025 and have been collaboratively developing and demonstrating "My Easy Access" in Marseille, France, with the goal of realizing a society where everyone can travel with peace of mind and enjoy local communities and tourism. Vichy is the second city to implement the platform, following Marseille, and has added a turn-by-turn navigation feature (※3) in addition to the existing route search function. The city will now take the lead in promoting its use and ensuring its integration into the local community. TMF plans to expand the service to three more cities in France by fiscal year 2026 through this collaboration. By understanding the mobility challenges and user needs in each city through implementation and operation, TMF aims to develop "My Easy Access" into an inclusive mobility platform applicable to a wider range of cities by incorporating the acquired knowledge into future service improvements.
