(hereinafter "CAMPFIRE"), operator of one of Japan's largest crowdfunding platforms, and C to H LLC (hereinafter "C to H"), which operates coworking spaces in the Noto region, will launch a special page titled "Kyoso x OKUNOTO" on July 1 (Wed.) to support individuals aiming to start businesses in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, which was affected by the "2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake" and other disasters. As part of this initiative, the three companies will also begin accepting applications today for participants in the "Okunoto Satellite Kitchen" project. This project involves setting up trailer house-style dining spaces in shopping streets in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, to support individuals challenging new business ventures, such as the food and beverage industry. In the four municipalities of the Noto region in Ishikawa Prefecture (Wajima City, Suzu City, Noto Town, and Anamizu Town), depopulation has accelerated since the earthquake (approximately a 14% decrease in two years)※1. With the outflow of younger generations particularly pronounced, there is a shortage of individuals to lead businesses that widely promote the region's attractions, including food and beverage, accommodation, and tourism.
