A joint survey by NEXER and Tetsuhiro (Tetuhiro) involving 145 railway enthusiasts reveals that while 66.2% are aware of railway auctions, only 4.2% have actually participated. Among experienced bidders, 'station name signs' are the most popular items, secured by 75% of participants. In contrast, those with no experience show a preference for starting with 'models or replicas.' The survey highlights that 'price appropriateness' and 'proof of authenticity' are the most critical factors for buyers, reflecting concerns over counterfeit items and market transparency.
