This event, featuring elementary and junior high school students from the Junior Leaders Club of the Entrepreneurship Development Center NPO, will be held starting July 25, 2026 (Sat). KRP will hold "KRP Fest 2026" over two days, July 24 (Fri) and 25 (Sat). Under the themes of "Technology," "Town," and "People," approximately 25 diverse events will be held concurrently, including programs to promote exchange among researchers and engineers from companies and institutions located in the KRP district, events for entrepreneurs and startups, and projects to enjoy art and culture. ■About the Event The Junior Leaders Club for Social Action (JLC) is a club that aims to foster entrepreneurship (entrepreneurial action ability) by having elementary and junior high school students gather twice a month on Saturdays to plan and implement activities that can contribute to society. So far, they have engaged in various activities, such as creating a blindfolded puzzle that can be played with visually impaired people, developing a board game to learn the importance of mutual assistance, holding tours to introduce the charm and history of the region, conducting cleanup activities where participants enjoy picking up trash while wearing Halloween costumes, and producing and selling picture books to deepen understanding of disabilities. This time, we hope that parents and children will experience "Kyoto's Mysterious Place Name Karuta," which makes learning difficult Kyoto place names fun. This karuta was developed by the children over a year and received a great response when it was featured in the Kyoto Shimbun last fall. It is designed to be enjoyable for everyone from children to adults, so please try playing it. We also plan to sell the karuta on the day, so those interested can purchase it. Addition
