Koshidaka Co., Ltd. (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hiroshi Koshidaka), a consolidated subsidiary of Koshidaka Holdings Co., Ltd., today announced that it has entered into an agreement on July 1, 2026, for a "Regionally Distributed, Locally Consumed Corporate PPA" with UPDATER Inc. (Location: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Eiji Oishi) and Kakuichi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, President and CEO: Riyo Tanaka). This agreement aggregates numerous low-voltage solar power plants (4.95-9.90kW class) installed on existing container/garage rooftops to procure electricity. Under this agreement, starting August 2026, 100% renewable energy (Note 1) generated by regional solar power plants will be sequentially supplied to 41 Karaoke Manekineko stores across five areas: Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku, and Shikoku. By matching stores with power plants within the same region, this initiative promotes the circulation of electricity charges within the region and achieves direct procurement of distributed renewable energy, independent of large-scale power plants. The supply system, spread across 61 locations in 5 areas, possesses high resilience unique to distributed systems, allowing other locations to mutually cover if one power generation site stops. This structure, not relying on distant large-scale power plants, enhances the stability of regional power supply during disasters and power outages, leading to the formation of a robust regional energy infrastructure. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to the development of sustainable local communities and economic revitalization. This is the first initiative of its kind in the karaoke industry to adopt a "Regionally Distributed, Locally Consumed Corporate PPA" by "Karaoke Manekineko" in Japan. (Self-researched as of the end of May 2026). Note 1: 100% renewable energy electricity is supplied by combining electricity from renewable energy sources with the environmental va
