Hutzper Inc. announced its selection as an implementing organization for the "Research and Development on AI-Ready Manufacturing Data (GENIAC)" project, promoted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Hutzper will focus on the "Research and Development of AI-Driven Manufacturing Infrastructure." The initiative addresses the structural challenge in Japanese manufacturing where design, production, and quality data are fragmented. Hutzper aims to convert this data into an "AI-Ready" state, enabling seamless AI exploration. With a budget of up to 500 million JPY over one year between 2026 and 2027, the project will utilize generative AI and video analysis to structure operational processes. This will create a new improvement cycle where AI continuously analyzes daily on-site data to predict quality issues and propose actionable solutions.
