Combeez Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuichiro Yamazaki) announced on June 17 the results of a survey regarding the intention to continue subscribing to newsletters created using AI. ▼ Beloved Email Distribution Tool with AI Functionality for Everyone ▼ https://x.gd/X1x2A Survey Background While there are concerns about the mechanical impression and accuracy of AI-generated content, there are also expectations for improved information gathering efficiency. Whether content is continuously read may depend on factors separate from the use of AI itself. This survey was conducted to understand whether readers would want to continue reading AI-generated newsletters if the content is useful. Survey Results Of the 200 valid responses, "Somewhat agree" was the most frequent answer with 116 responses (58.0%). This was followed by "Strongly agree" with 41 responses (20.5%), bringing the total positive responses to 157 (78.5%). "Neither agree nor disagree" accounted for 21 responses (10.5%), "Somewhat disagree" for 18 responses (9.0%), and "Strongly disagree" for 4 responses (2.0%). What the Survey Results Indicate The results show that whether content is useful has a stronger impact on the decision to continue subscribing than whether AI was used to create it. It appears important for newsletters to organize relevant information for readers in an easy-to-understand manner and deliver it in a way that is helpful for concrete actions and decisions. By fulfilling practicality, relevance, and readability, resistance to AI utilization may be significantly reduced.
